About Tony Cox
Three times SAMA award-winning acoustic guitar maestro, Tony Cox is returning to South Africa from the UK this August. He left SA with his family in 2008 to settle in the UK and has since been very busy on the world's stages performing to an ever-widening audience and appreciation.
If this guitar player plays anywhere near to you, make every effort to see him and experience a home-brewed and nicely matured 56 year-old guitar phenomenon like no other. Bring your family, bring your friends, and drag the young heavy-metal heads along by threat and force because they too will be simply blown away and will never look at their guitars the same way ever again.
Child Minders
Nannies available at R50 per child.. with dvd's in Klankhuis62 on big screen (quiet and safe spot) for older kids and a quiet house with 2 nannies (overlooks campsite).. a stone throw from cellar for only babies or children who want to go and sleep...please bring a small mattress, blankets, dummy and bottles in a bag for childminders to use when baby wakes up.. Shuttle Service
Shuttle service available between here and Barrydale, every hour for locals (please pay them directly).
Tents
Our rented tents are sold out, but space is still available to rent for your own tents @ R50 pp/pn. Hot showers and toilets available near camping area, which is in a quiet spot close to the cellar.
Picnic Hampers
Picnic hampers available (serves 2) from the al fresco Deli @ R140 from noon until 7pm (Please book on http://www.unplugged62.co.za/).
Includes: spanakopitas, ciabbata bread, molasse bread and butter, tapenade, baby chicken with sesame seeds and soy, cheese and jam...AND FRESH SNOEK WITH BREAD AND JAM IN THE EVE..all put in a beautiful orange bag from Environ (to take home as a souvenir), for the hungry ones...

The Hinds Brothers
Hinds Brothers performed at Joubert-Tradauw on the 9th of January 2010.
Aden and Wren Hinds, both singer/songwriters, unite to form an incomparable duo. Tired as they are with the dictated trends of the music scene, Hinds Brothers intend to bring a revolution in the truest sense to pass.
Their acoustically based songs are crafted in the classic mold, inspired by the great musical renaissance of the 60’s & 70’s. Each brother possessing a unique voice, they blend into a distinctive “Hinds Brothers” harmony.
This is music for everyone – at once seeking, thoughtful, provoking, melodic, playful and vibrant.

The Joubert-Tradauw Unplugged62 is an annual unplugged music event held in the beautiful Tradouw Valley at the Joubert-Tradauw Private Cellar. The event features the finest in South African unplugged music.
Why Unplugged Music?
Unplugged music is easy listening. This acoustic style music performance allows the artist to connect with the audience in an intimate way. The essence of the song shines through, as delivery tends to be barer and stripped down…naked!

In case of a 'no show' due to a storm or heavy rain..Joubert-Tradauw will pay back 50% of the total amount that was paid in by a customer. In event of cancellation by guest within the week before the event, Joubert-Tradauw will refund 50% of the total booking cost. |
